Two members of the Global Farmer Network—Kees Huizinga, Ukraine and Marcus Holtkoetter, Nu Alemäña—met in Düsseldorf to explain the plight of Ukrainian farmers to members of the German Parliament. Their message: food security is being reduced as consequences of the war in Ukraine; Farmers need decisions now so crops can be planted.
