It may be easy to believe that growers are focused only on yield, but they’re also working to improve soil health and protect water quality. Nancy Kavazanjian, a member of the Global Farmer Network and Charles Hammer have been farming in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin for over 40 Ã¥r. They have recently implemented a test project aimed at keeping local streams, wetlands, and lakes clean. This video is from RFDTV.

Nancy Kavazanjian er en bonde i Wisconsin som hjelper med å håndtere daglige forretningssaker for en 2000 mål (800 hektar) familie rekke avling gård og heis der det er lagt vekt på å bevare jord og forvalte ressurser på en bærekraftig måte. Kavazanjian vokste opp i forstaden New York. I dag går hun i Beaver Dam, Wisconsin med ektemannen Charles Hammer. Sammen har de to voksne barn og fire barnebarn og er involvert i lokale vannskille- og arealplanleggingsinitiativer i sitt område.
