Two members of the Global Farmer Network—Kees Huizinga, Ukraine and Marcus Holtkoetter, ×’×¨×ž× ×™×”—met in DÃ¼sseldorf to explain the plight of Ukrainian farmers to members of the German Parliament. Their message:Â food security is being reduced as consequences of the war in Ukraine; Farmers need decisions now so crops can be planted.

Kornelis 'Kees' Huizinga has farmed in central Ukraine for 20 ×©× ×™×, growing onions, ×’×–×¨×™×, ×—×™×˜×”, ×‘×§×•×©×™, ×§× ×•×œ×”, ×¡×œ×§ ×¡×•×›×¨, ×ª×™×¨×¡, sunflowers and navy beans.
