There are quite a few Global Farmer Network members involved with dairy farming. From Vermont in the US to New Zealand, China, Kenya, and Mexico to name a few places offhand. Dairy is worldwide, but no matter where they are located farmers often grapple with similar challenges. Some may provide mostly to local and regional domestic areas, while exports are more essential to others. But open and fair markets are important to everyone, and that’s why this short video from the International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA) caught our attention. While it is specifically from a visit to a cheese producer in South Dakota, it’s a universal message.
It’s a good message to share – and it’s an important one for all of agriculture.
